February 7, 2010 - March 6, 2010 MOON OF THE HAWK - Do I live what I believe The Hawk Moon is the eighth Moon in the Mayan year. It begins during Aquarius and overlaps Pisces. The Mayans called the Hawk ‘Coz’ and they saw it in the sky as a vast bird that stretched from Capricorn, where its tail began, to the beak-which reached all the way to North of Pegasus. The Hawk is featured in many legends and myths throughout the World and in all cultures. In Greek mythology the Hawk was the messenger and ruler of the planet Mercury. The Hawk is the fastest creature on this Planet…records of 240 Kilometers have been recorded. Hawk feathers are very useful for dreams and it can be helpful to place Hawk feathers under your pillow to attract messages. People born under the Hawk Moon share the attributes of this well respected bird; they will be sharp minded, quick-witted and intuitive. Their impeccable judgment should always be trusted. Always creative and full of new ideas, Hawk people are invaluable to Humanity’s evolution. Don’t forget that they are predators too and have sharp beaks and talons. They are very courageous and are more than capable of defending themselves. Their tongues can be as quick as their minds so look out. It is the 16th Wavespell in the Tzolkin and the fourth Wavespell in the Yellow Southern Castle of Giving. The Agenda for this 13 day period is Questing. It is about finding your quest or going on one. It is about using your Intelligence and wielding your Will. You become a soldier on a mission for 13 days if you are up to the challenge. Most people if they are fortunate, find their niche in life. When you find your niche, that pivotal point in your life can be the making of you. Haven't you always wondered what you are doing here on this Earth? If you don't know yet, use this time to find out. We all have a mission even if we don't know it. The journey through this Wavespell culminates with the Yellow Cosmic Star. Whereas we began with a quest to find a quest it results in 'transcending beautifully'. So what is the agenda for this Wavespell? Lets look at its main characteristics. It is the 15th Wavespell in the Tzolkin and the third in the Yellow Southern Castle of Giving.
The agenda for this 13 day period is of dreams and abundance. It a good time for taking your ideas off the back burner where they were getting cold and honouring their importance.
Your dreams are the only things that are truly yours. They come from your unique imagination. If you don't take them seriously who will? Life with all its distractions and problems can make you forget your dreams and that is a shame.
If it wasn't for all the dreamers who came before us where would we be?
"Imagine" sang John Lennon, he also said "I am a dreamer but I'm not the only one".
If enough of us dream a future where there is peace then that dream will come true.
Whereas this Wavespell begins with dreams it ends with the Blue Cosmic Eagle - transcending through vision.
